First day of Kenyon can be described as one word — ”Smoove.”Â
 Â
The day went by fast, but not too fast. Fast enough to enjoy the idea of writing all day. I met many knew people, a lot who are amazing writers. We each had great ideas and joining them was beyond great;  it made my experience here wonderful. My instructor Zach is a cool cat. He’s mellow, down to earth, and has great ideas that make me want to write, which I find awesome. The food here was so good and the campus is beautiful and brings a great feeling of serenity, something quite hard to find in the loud city of New York. I appreciate my first day here and the chance I actually have to be here. I look forward to everyday with an open mind and ready to write. Â

Hey JZ… nice blog, and I am happy to hear that you are liking it! I knew you would like this opportunity…imagine an “old” science teacher knowing something worthwhile! I am really happy that you have this chance to find your voice through the written word… you were always very good at it, but this will help you to push yourself and refine the gift that you have… enjoy. Sounds like a wonderful beginning to the Kenyon experience! Thanks so much for the update, really looking forward to following the trip. I hope the serenity is something that you can bring a piece of back with you.
Great first day jeremy, you are a writer, and will always be one. Write your heart out. This is college. Get ready. Enjoy the serenity, the challenge and meeting everything and everyone with an open mind and heart. Expecting great results. Love to the other four. Ms. Hedaa
Hey Jeremy, this entry is pretty “smoove”– thanks for sharing your thoughts! Glad you are appreciating the peace and serenity of the Kenyon environment– picture maybe going to school there in a year or two! You are so ready for this, looking forward to hearing more about this experience in your own words
